The client experienced persistent water ingress in the basement and rooftop areas of a multi-million dollar villa. Previous conventional waterproofing methods had failed due to the complex architectural geometry and high salinity of the coastal environment in Palm Jumeirah.
The primary issue was the expansion joints and intricate detail work around the HVAC units on the terrace, where standard sheets were failing to provide a seamless seal.
Our Solution
We proposed a multi-layered Advanced Liquid-Applied Membrane System. Unlike traditional felt or torch-applied bitumen, this high-performance resin adapts to the movement of the building and bonds molecularly to the substrate.
